I’ve been producing branded documentary

content throughout Africa for 8 years

For the better part of the last decade I’ve been traveling all over Africa to document some incredible stories of hope & healing from the mouths of patients, families, communities, health care providers, and volunteer medical professionals. I met my wife, Rose, while living on board a hospital ship volunteering with the humanitarian organization, Mercy Ships. We’ve been working together as story-tellers and champions of everyday heroes ever since.

Rose is a multi-talented producer, writer, content editor, story editor, and logistics guru. She has a Journalism B.A. and grew up in Thailand. If she’s not researching travel, she’s probably buried in a book.

I’m a documentary filmmaker, photographer, video-editor, and creative director. Originally from Minnesota, I tell people I’m ‘basically Canadian’ and have a love for the outdoors. If the surf forecast is flat, I’m on my mountain bike or watching wilderness survival videos on YouTube with our toddler, Flynn.

If you’re looking to collaborate on a creative project, have video or photo needs, or would just like to get some coffee, please don’t hesitate to send a message via the contact form below. I’m currently located in Agadir, Morocco and can travel pretty much anywhere there’s a story that needs telling.

Some of our favorite projects to work on: Short human-interest branded documentaries, travel and nature documentaries, ‘About Us’ videos, and big-picture branding and communications work.
